MITB ACM's ML Marathon

The MITB ACM Student Chapter's SIG-AI organized ML Marathon on 1st February 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the MIT Bengaluru campus. ML Marathon was designed as an intensive, hands-on machine learning challenge that tested participants' analytical thinking, creativity, and technical implementation skills using real-world datasets. The event aimed to simulate a practical data science environment where participants focused on understanding data, selecting appropriate approaches, and presenting insights effectively-without reliance on Al-assisted model building. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across disciplines and was efficiently conducted by the SIG-Al team, making it a highly engaging and intellectually enriching experience centered on applied machine learning.
